Growth should feel authentic
Lasting growth comes when you lead in a way that feels true to you. If it feels fake or borrowed, it quickly falls apart.
Leadership today can feel overwhelming. The pressure to perform, constant decision-making, and competing responsibilities often leave leaders second-guessing themselves. Add to that the challenge of managing up to a manager and the complexity of leading a team, which can sometimes feel more like resolving conflict than inspiring progress.
I understand how heavy that can feel. That’s why I coach: to help leaders find clarity in their role, manage upward with confidence, and lead their teams with authenticity and impact.
For over 20 years, I built my career in corporate fundraising. By most measures, I was successful, but deep down I knew something was missing.
In 2019, I made a choice to step away. With just a bag and a camera, I set out to travel across Vietnam, Armenia, Georgia, and Turkey. It was in Armenia, at a quiet fountain, that I experienced a turning point.
Standing with an old friend, I realised that life isn’t meant to be lived waiting for the perfect moment. Like water flowing freely, true growth comes from clarity, alignment, and movement.
When I returned home, I knew I couldn’t go back to “business as usual.” Instead, I built my coaching practice around that insight: growth happens when you align with your values, gain clarity, and take steady action.
Today, I work personally with leaders who are ready for their own fountain moment. Through one-on-one coaching, structured frameworks, and practical tools, I help leaders move past self-doubt, manage up with confidence, and lead their teams with clarity and authenticity.
My role isn’t to tell you who to be, it’s to walk alongside you as you find your own clarity, build confidence, and step into authentic influence.
I keep my coaching simple, human, and effective. Growth does not need to be complicated. What leaders need most is space to reflect, clarity to see their next steps, and the confidence to act.
Here is how I approach every coaching journey:
I work one-on-one, giving you my full attention and tailoring each conversation to your leadership journey.
I offer coaching in English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa, so our sessions are fully accessible and personal.
Through The Influential Leader Program, we focus on your real challenges. Every session is designed to bring clarity and confidence you can apply immediately in your leadership.
I help you take steady, meaningful steps that create lasting change. It is not about doing more, but about finding your flow and leading with intention
Real people face real problems, and that is where real change begins. Leadership is not about chasing someone else’s model or pretending to have all the answers. It is about staying true to yourself, finding clarity in the challenges you face, and growing with authenticity.
Over the years, I have discovered a few guiding principles that shape both my coaching and how I live and lead.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me outdoors — behind a camera, exploring new places, or working on projects around the farm.
I enjoy writing too, capturing stories about life and nature. Photography helps me slow down and notice the details. Travel keeps me curious and inspired. Farm life grounds me in rhythm and responsibility.
These experiences, rooted in rural beginnings, shaped by a global perspective, and fueled by a love of creating art, sculptures and nurturing the space I live in, influence how I see leadership. They remind me that growth is about balance: ambition and humanity, focus and flow, clarity and curiosity.
